Iran is willing to reinitiate atomic negotiations with the United States on condition that it is treated with "dignity" and "respect", Iran's foreign minister has declared.

The Iranian diplomat stated solely negotiations produced results, and disclosed recent overtures had been made by go-betweens to reopen discussions with the American leadership. He asserted Iran had zero unreported enrichment locations, and Iran had not yet reached a point to allow the global atomic watchdog to inspect bombed nuclear sites for safety concerns.

Navigating a Difficult Route

Araghchi is navigating a complex path since Iran aims to avoid appear to be operating from a position of disadvantage, and he emphatically stated that Iran had emerged more powerful in military terms and mentally from the coordinated strike on its enrichment centers in June.

He was speaking at a defense forum in Tehran where he reiterated that Iran had "an inalienable right to refine atomic fuel on home soil that it will never give up" – the primary cause of the deadlock in the prior discussions.

Earlier Negotiations Suddenly Terminated

The prior phases of talks between the United States and Iran were brought to an abrupt and bitter end on 12 June when Israel, with Washington's assistance, struck Iranian nuclear sites in a 12-day war that culminated with Donald Trump claiming the locations had been eliminated. Afterward, Western states employed their authority to restore international penalties, but Iran asserts they have not had a substantial consequence.

Perfect Agreement Suggested

Tehran representatives claimed they felt they had achieved a "perfect agreement" to the uranium processing matter in previous talks, when it was agreed an Iran-based consortium with US participation could enrich uranium. Both sides would have been able to assert triumph since local refinement would have remained and the US could be certain that Iran's nuclear programme was exclusively peaceful.

It had not been decided in the talks that American atomic experts could work on Iranian soil, but that was a logical implication of the partnership suggestion. Representatives claimed on multiple occasions they had reached agreement with Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff only for the agreement to fall apart due to "opponents in the US".

Current Situation

Araghchi said: "It was not Iran that had deserted diplomacy; it was the United States and the European states that had always attempted to enforce their demands during the discussions. Repair and Rebuilding

In what is portrayed by Iran's diplomats as the conflict of repair and reconstruction, the foreign minister claimed he was assured Iran's military capacities "are considerably enhanced than before 13 or 14 June of this year. Our entire military infrastructure have been rebuilt. We gained multiple understandings from this conflict; we have identified our personal limitations and the weaknesses of the enemy."

He stated: "We managed to survive this engagement. Our nuclear technology, which they aimed to eliminate, continues to exist. The installations and equipment, if damaged, will be rebuilt; what is important is the will of the Iranian people and then the national cohesion that they aimed at, but failed to shatter. The nation of Iran have become more powerful, more integrated, and more supportive of the administration and the country in the face of this assault."
